About our Staff
Barbara Moore - Founder of the Enuresis Treatment Center In 1975, Barbara, who researched and developed our highly effective method for treating bedwetting, successfully treated her own daughter's bedwetting. She is committed to providing her knowledge and support to families in our program, and supervises our treatment counselors and oversees all aspects of our program. Barbara has been interviewed for TV and radio programs around the country, and continues to be sought out as an expert in her industry.
Dr. Lyle Danuloff
A clinical psychologist since the early 1970's, Dr. Danuloff
has consulted with ETC since 1984. He has intimate clinical
knowledge of a bedwetter's emotional and psychological challenges.
Dr. Danuloff participates in our staff development progress,
and consults on a regular basis.
Susan Kurnat, B.S.N. Formerly a pediatric nurse for 20 years, Sue cared for infants through young adults. Through her work at the hospital, Sue realized how much she enjoyed the teaching aspect of nursing and the opportunity to work with a child and their family. At ETC, she has been excited to continue the relationship with the child and their family, making the kind of difference she most appreciates.
Leslie Miller, DCH
Leslie has been our New Patient Assessment Coordinator since
1992. She assesses both our program effectiveness and new
patient needs. Leslie brings over 20 years of research experience
to our center. Her dynamic personality has been a major
asset to ETC.
Gaile Nixon
Gaile is particularly grateful for Barbara Moore's persistence
to find a cure. As her daughter, Gaile's bedwetting was the
catalyst for what is now the Enuresis Treatment Center, Inc. The
difference created in her life is what has Gaile so committed
to providing education to families of bedwetters. She has
a wonderful ability to relate to children. Gaile has also
spearheaded an outreach program to educate teachers and doctors
with regard to enuresis.
Barbara Moore and Gaile Nixon
Ann Parker, B.A.
Ann has tremendous compassion for bedwetters and their families.
She works with children and adults to treat ADD/ADHD as well.
Ann holds a strong determination for finding the root cause
for and correcting a problem rather than simply masking the
symptoms. She has a gift for keeping families motivated during
their course of treatment.
Susan Peterson, M.A.
Susan is a special education teacher and has been involved
with ETC since 1996. She has considerable knowledge and experience
with children with special needs and children that wet the
bed. Susan's patience and training have helped her to be very
successful in treating special needs children at the clinic.
Lorie Pivetz, R.N., B.S.N.
Lorie is a practicing nurse in a major hospital. Most of her 30 years
experience has been in maternity, caring for moms and newborns with problem
pregnancies. The Enuresis Treatment Center provides a unique environment to
combine her skills and experience to help guide families through the
program. Lorie has three sons, one of whom was a bedwetter.
Theresia Radtke, B.A.
Theresia graduated from Kalamazoo College with an honors degree in Biology and Environmental Studies, and completed a graduate program in science education while studying in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Theresia's passion for teaching children makes her very sensitive to her patients' needs.
Mary Ann Rice, R.N.
Formerly a nurse in a busy pediatric practice, Mary Anne counseled
parents in areas of illness and normal growth and development.
She understands the frustrations of families trying to stop
bedwetting through prescription drugs, or who are told that
their child will outgrow it. At ETC, Mary Anne provides a
specific treatment plan, along with support and guidance,
to help the enuretic become dry. She has been part of ETC's
staff since 1999.
Michael Stallsmith,
M.A.
His profession is that of a school psychologist, which enables
Michael to be sensitive to the needs of young bedwetters who
often think of themselves as "different". Michael
has been on the staff at ETC since 1988, and he specializes
in treatment for teenage and adult males. A very sensitive
person himself, Michael, who is also a high school track coach,
uses his wonderful sense of humor in his treatment approach.
Denise Turman, R.N., B.S.N.
Denise brought her own son to ETC to get help for his bedwetting.
Six months later when her son was successfully treated, Denise
decided that she wanted to be part of the ETC staff. Married
to a minister and being a nurse provides Denise with an exceptional
ability to listen and understand the families she works with
at ETC.
